Which EV charger or charging cable fits my car?
The right charging solution depends on more than the maximum power of a wallbox. Your car make, model, version, AC charging capability, connector and number of phases all matter. The Bar2Charge Car Selector compares these vehicle specifications with compatible charging products.
Type 1 or Type 2
Most modern European EVs use Type 2 for AC charging, while some older or specific models use Type 1. The selector takes the known connector of your chosen vehicle into account.
Single-phase or three-phase charging
Charging can be single-phase or three-phase depending on the vehicle and electrical installation. Bar2Charge offers charging solutions from 3.7 kW up to 22 kW for different situations.

Common questions about choosing an EV charger
Can I use a more powerful wallbox than my car supports?
Yes, provided the connection and installation are suitable. During AC charging the car only draws the power supported by its onboard charger.
Why do I need to select the exact model or version?
AC charging power, number of phases and even connector type can differ between model years or versions. Selecting the exact vehicle therefore gives a more reliable match.
