Peblar Business 22 kW EV charger – MID & OCPP, 5 or 7.5 meters

The Peblar Business 22 kW is a complete charging solution for both business and private applications, focusing on reliability, energy metering and smart control. The charging station delivers a maximum charging capacity of 22 kW on 3-phase and is available from Bar2Charge with a fixed Type 2 charging cable of 5 metres or 7.5 metres.

Thanks to the integrated MID-certified energy meter, the energy consumption used for charging is accurately recorded. This makes the Peblar Business particularly suitable for situations where charging costs need to be made transparent or settled, such as business charging, company cars or charging points for employees.

Smart charging with dynamic load balancing

The Peblar Business supports dynamic load balancing. This allows the charging capacity to be automatically adjusted to the current energy consumption of the home or commercial building. This ensures efficient use of the available grid capacity and reduces the risk of overloading the electrical installation.

Load balancing can be implemented via CT clamps or via a P1 interface. In combination with, for example, the Xemex Smart A1/P1 Connect, information from the smart meter can be used for dynamic power control.

In addition, the charging station is prepared for solar charging, allowing generated solar energy to be intelligently incorporated into the charging strategy.

OCPP for professional charging management

For business applications, the Peblar Business supports OCPP 1.6-J. This allows the charging station to be connected to compatible back-office and charging management systems.

Depending on the installation and configuration, the connection can be established via:

• WiFi
• 2G/4G mobile network

This makes the charging station suitable for applications where charging points need to be managed, monitored or administratively processed remotely.

RFID and scheduled charging

With RFID authentication, it is possible to determine who has access to the charging station. An RFID tag is included as standard. The Peblar Business also supports scheduled charging, allowing charging sessions, for example, to be coordinated with preferred charging times or energy tariffs.

The sturdy IP54 enclosure allows installation both indoors and outdoors. It can be mounted directly on the wall or on a suitable Peblar mounting post.
