The Bar2Charge B5 is a smart mobile home charger delivering up to 3.7 kW for electric cars and plug-in hybrids with a Type 2 connection. Connect it directly to a properly grounded 230V Schuko socket.

The B5 is available with a fixed Type 2 charging cable measuring 5, 7, 10 or 15 metres, allowing you to choose a length that suits your parking and charging situation.

Who is this mobile home charger suitable for?

The B5 is particularly suitable if you want the flexibility of charging via a regular socket while still having smart control and enhanced residual-current protection. The different cable lengths make it suitable for a variety of driveways, garages and parking spaces.

At 10A, the charging capacity is approximately 2.3 kW. At 16A, the charger can deliver a maximum of approximately 3.7 kW. At locations with a limited power supply, you can select a lower charging setting.

Safe charging via a socket

In addition to Type B residual-current protection, the B5 features protection against short circuits, overcurrent, overload, overheating, overvoltage and grounding problems.

Connect the mobile home charger directly to a properly grounded socket. When charging at 16A for extended periods, check that the socket and electrical installation are suitable for this continuous load. Do not use a regular power strip or a coiled extension cable.
