When can you achieve 11 kW?

To achieve the maximum charging power of 11 kW, the 3-phase connection, cabling, protection and the car’s onboard charger must be suitable for 3-phase 16A charging. If your car supports a lower AC charging power, it will charge at the lower supported power.

Optional charging via a standard socket

With a suitable adapter, available separately, the B6 can also be used via a standard socket. In that case, the maximum charging power is considerably lower than 11 kW, and the charging current must be matched to what the socket and electrical installation can safely provide.

Safe charging

The B6 features multiple protection functions against, among other things, overheating, leakage current, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and short circuits.

For 11 kW charging, use only a suitable, correctly installed and protected 3-phase connection. If in doubt, have the connection checked by a qualified installer and fully uncoil the charging cable during use.
