The Bar2Charge B3 is a portable home charger with a maximum output of 3.7 kW for electric cars and plug-in hybrids with a Type 2 connection. You connect it directly to a properly earthed Schuko socket.

The B3 is available with a fixed Type 2 charging cable measuring 5, 7, 10 or 15 metres, allowing you to choose the length that suits your driveway, garage or parking space.

The B3 is particularly suitable if you want to charge via a regular wall socket while still having smart control, long cable lengths and comprehensive safety features. It can be operated via the charging unit itself or through the app.

Smart charging via the app

With Smart Life or Tuya, you can view the charging status, monitor charging sessions and energy consumption, start or stop charging remotely, and adjust settings. No subscription is required to use the app.

Safe charging via the wall socket

In addition to a Type B RCD, the B3 features protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, residual current, high temperatures, frequency deviations, lightning, static electricity and earthing problems.

Connect the portable home charger directly to a properly earthed wall socket. When charging at 16A for extended periods, check that the socket and electrical installation are suitable for this continuous load. Do not use a regular power strip or a coiled extension cable.
