Easy and reliable home charging

With the Bar2Charge EasyPlug 3.7 kW, you can charge your electric car using a suitable, grounded 230 V socket. No complicated operation: connect the charger, select the desired charging current and plug the Type 2 connector into your car. Thanks to its compact design and included carry bag, the mobile home charger is easy to take with you. Suitable for use at home and on the go, provided a safe power supply is available.

Four adjustable charging modes

Match the charging power to the available electrical installation with four charging modes:

• 8A – approx. 1.8 kW
• 10A – approx. 2.3 kW
• 13A – approx. 3.0 kW
• 16A – approx. 3.7 kW

Press the control button twice to switch between the four modes. The charging current can only be adjusted in standby mode. The actual charging power achieved depends on the car and the power supply.

LCD display and clear status indicators

The LCD display shows the set charging current and voltage. Four LED indicators show what the charger is doing: FAULT (fault), STATUS (charging status), CONNECTOR (vehicle connection) and POWER (power supply).

Safe charging with multiple protective features

The Bar2Charge EasyPlug is equipped with protection against overvoltage and undervoltage, leakage current, short circuits, overcurrent, overload and overheating. The charger also features grounding protection and surge protection.

Thanks to its IP65 protection rating, the housing is dust-tight and protected against water jets. The EasyPlug is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, provided it is connected to a safe and suitable electrical installation.

Suitable for cars with Type 2

The Bar2Charge EasyPlug is suitable for electric cars and plug-in hybrids with a Type 2 connector for AC charging. This includes compatible versions of Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, Volvo, Hyundai, Kia, Renault, Peugeot, Škoda, CUPRA, Opel, Ford and BYD. Cars that support 11 or 22 kW AC charging can also use the EasyPlug; this mobile charger delivers up to approx. 3.7 kW on a single phase. Always check that your car has a Type 2 connector and that your outlet is suitable for the selected charging current.

Important for safe use

Only connect the charger to a properly grounded outlet and an electrical installation suitable for the selected charging current. The suitability of the outlet and wiring is especially important when charging at 16 A for extended periods. Do not use extension cords or adapters, and check the cable and plugs for damage before use. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
