Do you want to charge faster than via a regular household outlet, but with a mobile charger? The Bar2Charge Smart Mobile Home Charger 7.4 kW is a single-phase mobile EV charger with a blue 32A CEE plug, a fixed 5-metre Type 2 charging cable and control via the Smart Life app.

A suitable 230V 32A CEE connection is required for the full charging capacity of 7.4 kW. Ultimately, the vehicle determines how much charging power is actually drawn.

When can you achieve 7.4 kW?

To achieve 7.4 kW, the CEE connection, wiring, protection in the meter cupboard and the vehicle’s onboard charger must be suitable for 32A on a single phase. If your vehicle’s onboard charger supports a maximum of 3.7 kW AC, for example, the vehicle will also charge at a maximum of 3.7 kW.

This charger does not have automatic load balancing. Therefore, take into account the available capacity of the electrical installation and other devices operating at the same time.

Safe charging

The mobile home charger has several safety features, including residual-current protection with AC and DC detection, short-circuit protection, overcurrent protection, overload protection, overheating protection, overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection and grounding monitoring.

For the full charging capacity, connect the charger directly to a correctly installed and protected blue 32A CEE connection. If in doubt, have the electrical connection checked by a qualified installer.
