Bar2Charge Nova 16 V2L adapter – power from your electric car

Use your electric car as a mobile power source with the compact Bar2Charge Nova 16. This Type 2 V2L adapter connects directly to the charging port of a compatible electric car with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L). The integrated European Schuko socket lets you power compatible 230V devices. Handy at the campsite, on the road, on holiday or while working on location.

The Nova 16 has a compact design without an extension cable and an integrated 230V socket. The adapter is easy to carry and has a sturdy black design. The housing is made of PC+ABS, and the conductive contacts are made of silver-plated copper alloy.

V2L stands for Vehicle-to-Load: with a suitable electric car, you can use energy from the vehicle's battery to power, for example, a laptop, phone charger, lighting or a compatible cooler. Always check the power consumption of your devices and the car's maximum V2L load.

Important: choose the correct car make and model

V2L adapters are not automatically universal. Car manufacturers use different resistance values and recognition systems for the V2L function. Therefore, it is important to choose an adapter version suited to your car make and model. When ordering, always select the correct make and model of your car so that the appropriate version can be supplied. The V2L function may not work with the wrong version.

We offer brand-specific versions for: Kia, Hyundai, MG, BYD, Renault, XPeng, Zeekr, Smart, Chery, Omoda and Jaecoo. This does not mean that every model from these brands is compatible. Check whether your specific vehicle supports external V2L via the Type 2 charging port and whether the selected adapter version is suitable.
