Bar2Charge Nova 16 V2L adapter – power from your electric car

Use your electric car as a mobile power source with the compact Bar2Charge Nova 16. This Type 2 V2L adapter connects directly to the charging port of a compatible electric car with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L). You can use the integrated European Schuko power outlet to power compatible 230 V devices. Handy at the campsite, on the road, on vacation or while working on site.

The Nova 16 has a compact, extension-cord-free design and an integrated 230 V power outlet. The adapter is easy to carry and has a sturdy black-and-white design. The housing is made of PC+ABS, and the conductive contacts are made of silver-plated copper alloy.

V2L stands for Vehicle-to-Load: with a compatible electric car, you can use energy from the vehicle battery to power, for example, a laptop, phone charger, lights or a suitable cool box. Always check your devices’ power consumption and the car’s maximum V2L output.

Important: choose the correct car make and model

V2L adapters are not automatically universal. Car manufacturers use different resistance values and recognition systems for the V2L function. It is therefore important to choose an adapter version suited to your car’s make and model. When ordering, always select the correct make and model so we can supply the right version. The V2L function may not work with the wrong version.

We offer brand-specific versions for: Kia, Hyundai, MG, BYD, Renault, XPeng, Zeekr, Smart, Chery, Omoda and Jaecoo. This does not mean every model from these brands is compatible. Check whether your specific car supports external V2L through the Type 2 charging port and whether the adapter version you choose is suitable.
