11 kW Type 2 charging cable for electric cars and plug-in hybrids

With the Bar2Charge ST-T200 charging cable, you can safely and reliably charge your electric car or plug-in hybrid at a public charging station or wallbox with a Type 2 connection. The cable has a Type 2 plug on both ends, also known as Mennekes, and is ready for immediate use.

With a maximum charging capacity of 11 kW at 3-phase 16A, this charging cable is suitable for electric cars and plug-in hybrids that can charge via three phases at a maximum of 16 amps per phase.

The actual charging capacity is determined by the car, charging point, and charging cable. Does your car or charging point support a lower charging capacity? The cable will automatically charge at the lower available capacity.

Available in 5, 7.5, and 10 meters

Choose the cable length that best suits your parking space and daily use. The 5-meter version is compact and easy to store. With 7.5 or 10 meters, you have extra freedom of movement when the charging port is farther from the charging station or wallbox.

Protected during use and storage

When the protective cap is correctly fitted to the disconnected plug, the connection has an IP54 protection rating. When the plug is correctly connected to the car’s or charging point’s socket, an IP55 protection rating applies.

Always replace the protective cap after use and store the charging cable clean and dry. Do not leave the plugs in water, and regularly check the cable and connections for damage.

Safe and reliable charging

The cable sheath is made of flexible and wear-resistant TPU and is designed for daily use. The copper conductors and silver-plated contact pins ensure reliable power transfer and a secure connection between the car and the charging point.

Thanks to the 5 × 2.5 mm² cable conductors, the charging cable is suitable for a maximum current of 16A per phase.

Suitable for cars with a Type 2 connection

This charging cable is suitable for electric cars and plug-in hybrids with a Type 2 charging connection. To charge at the maximum capacity of 11 kW, both the car and the charging point must support 3-phase 16A charging.

Can your car charge via only one phase, or does it support a lower charging capacity? You can still use this cable, but the charging capacity will automatically be limited to the maximum capacity supported by the car and charging point.

Please note

This is a standalone Mode 3 charging cable for use with a public charging station or wallbox with a Type 2 connection. The cable cannot be connected directly to a standard wall socket. For this, you need a suitable mobile home charger.
