Type 2 charging cable for electric cars and plug-in hybrids

With the Bar2Charge ST-250 charging cable, you can safely and reliably charge your electric car or plug-in hybrid at a public charging station or wallbox with a Type 2 connection. The cable is equipped with a Type 2 plug, also known as Mennekes, on both ends and is ready for immediate use.

With a maximum charging capacity of 3.7 kW at 1-phase 16A, this charging cable is particularly suitable for plug-in hybrids and electric cars that can charge via AC at a maximum of 3.7 kW.

Choose from 5, 7.5 or 10 meters

The charging cable is available in three lengths:

• 5 meters: practical when you park close to the charging station

• 7.5 meters: offers extra freedom of movement in various parking positions

• 10 meters: suitable when the charging station is further away from your car's charging port

Protected during use and storage

When the protective cap is correctly fitted to the detachable plug, the connection has a protection class of IP54. When the plug is correctly connected to the socket of the car or the charging point, a protection class of IP55 applies.

Always replace the protective cap after use and store the charging cable clean and dry. Do not leave plugs in water and check the cable and connections regularly for damage.

Flexible and reliable

The cable jacket is made of flexible and wear-resistant TPU and is designed for daily use. The copper conductors and silver-plated contact pins ensure reliable power transfer and a secure connection between the car and the charging point.

Can your car charge at a maximum of 3.7 kW via AC? Then this 1-phase 16A charging cable is a suitable choice. If your car can charge faster, the charging power is limited to a maximum of 3.7 kW when using this cable.

This is a standalone Mode 3 charging cable for use with a public charging station or wallbox with a Type 2 connector. The cable cannot be connected directly to a standard wall outlet. You need a suitable portable home charger for this.
