With the purple Bar2Charge ST-250 charging cable, you can safely and reliably charge your electric car or plug-in hybrid at a public charging station or wallbox with a Type 2 connection. The cable has a Type 2 plug on both ends, also known as Mennekes, and is ready to use straight away.

With a maximum charging capacity of 3.7 kW at single-phase 16A, this charging cable is particularly suitable for plug-in hybrids and electric cars that can charge at up to 3.7 kW via AC.

The striking purple design makes the cable easy to recognize. Thanks to its length of 7.5 metres, you have plenty of freedom of movement when your car’s charging port is not directly next to the charging point.

Protected during use and storage

When the protective cap is correctly fitted to the disconnected plug, the connection has an IP54 protection rating. When the plug is correctly connected to the car’s or charging point’s socket, an IP55 protection rating applies.

Always replace the protective cap after use and store the charging cable clean and dry. Do not leave plugs in water and regularly check the cable and connections for damage.

Flexible 7.5-metre cable

The 7.5-metre length provides extra freedom of movement in different parking positions. This makes it easier to bridge the distance between the charging point and your car’s charging port.

The cable sheath is made of flexible and wear-resistant TPU and is designed for daily use. The copper conductors and silver-plated contact pins ensure reliable power transmission and a secure connection.

After use, you can easily store the charging cable in the included storage bag. This keeps the cable tidy and protected in the boot.

Can your car charge at up to 3.7 kW via AC? Then this single-phase 16A charging cable is a suitable choice. If your car can charge faster, the charging capacity will be limited to a maximum of 3.7 kW when using this cable.

Please note

This is a standalone Mode 3 charging cable for use with a public charging station or wallbox with a Type 2 connection. The cable cannot be connected directly to a standard power socket. For this, you need a suitable mobile home charger.
