Smart home charging with the Bar2Charge TA Series

The Bar2Charge TA Series is a modern, user-friendly wallbox for safe and convenient home charging. Choose the version that matches your electrical connection:

• 7.4 kW: single-phase, maximum 32A

• 11 kW: three-phase, maximum 16A per phase

Both versions feature a fixed 8-metre Type 2 charging cable, a clear 4.3-inch touchscreen and control via the Smart Life app, RFID or Plug & Start.

Thanks to its IP65 enclosure, the charging station is protected against dust and water and is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation.

Three ways to start charging

• Smart Life app: start and stop charging and adjust settings via your smartphone.

• RFID card: hold one of the three included cards in front of the reader to start charging.

• Plug & Start: connect the charging cable and start charging immediately without an app or RFID card.

Control via the Smart Life app

Connect the charging station via Wi-Fi to the free Smart Life app for iOS and Android. Via the app, you can:

• Start and stop charging

• View the current charging status and charging speed

• Adjust the charging current within the range of the selected version

• Set a charging schedule

• Delay charging until a more economical time

• Adjust the wallbox settings

The 7.4 kW version can be set from 6A to 32A. The 11 kW version can be set to a maximum of 16A per phase.

Please note: this version cannot record or store previous charging sessions.

Optional load balancing with CT clamps

The Bar2Charge TA Series can optionally be expanded with load balancing via CT clamps. The CT clamps measure the current electricity consumption of the home. The wallbox can adjust the charging power accordingly, ensuring that the available power is distributed efficiently and preventing overloading of the main connection.

The CT clamps and installation for load balancing are optional and are not included as standard with every version.

Suitable for electric and hybrid cars

The Bar2Charge TA Series is suitable for electric cars and plug-in hybrids with a European Type 2 charging connection.

The actual charging power is determined by the selected version, the electrical connection and the vehicle’s maximum AC charging speed. A suitable single-phase 32A connection is required for 7.4 kW. A suitable three-phase 16A connection is required for 11 kW.
